VOW OF NON-VIOLENCE—Rev. Cassandra Howe.
The first vow of non-violence was created by Mahatma Gandhi in Johannesburg, South Africa on September 11 1906. As a religious community that seeks justice and peace for all beings, we are part of a long line of people who, individually and in community, have helped to shape our culture towards peace. Come be part of the signing of our peace vow, as a witness or participant, and hear the sounds of our peace maker choir!
