Newcomers
You are warmly invited to get to know us. We know that some folks prefer to "check us out" quietly while others want to "jump right in" and test the waters. There are many ways you can find out more about this faith community.
- Attend Worship.
- The best and quickest way to get to know our community is by attending Sunday morning service
- Sundays 10:00 am (except July)
- We have a nursery staffed by church members.
- Children are welcome to enjoy the beginning of each worship service with the entire congregation before joining the appropriate age group for religious education classes.
- Stay for Social Hour.
- Join us after worship service as we visit, renew, and socialize over a fabulous offering of coffee, tea and refreshments. We serve organic, fair trade coffee.
- Attend an Event.
- From Sunday services to book discussions, movies to guest speakers, our calendar of events has plenty to choose from.
- Attend a Get Acquainted Gathering.
- On the first Sunday of each month a UUCC member meets with visitors and new members in an informal Q&A session.
- The gathering is held at the dining tables during the potluck (11:30 am to Noon).
- You can find out more about our specific church history and beliefs, as well as Unitarian Universalism in general.
- You can also find out about opportunities for getting involved in the many special groups here.
- Find Out About Becoming a Church Member.
- After the worship service the first Sunday of every month, join our Director of Membership to review the required paperwork, discuss areas of church life you may be interested in exploring, find out what a church pledge is, and learn about the benefits and responsibilities of membership.
