Here is a snapshot of the planned engagements, hosted by the Board and The Committee on Ministry:
January 22. Congregational meeting, breaking into small groups to share our vision of what UUCC will look like and be doing in 2020. We will ask you to build upon current successes and imagine new ways of building a healthy congregation over the next 3 years related to growth, Sunday services, adult and k-12 RE, community engagement and more.
February 5. Pot luck. Brief congregational meeting to act on FIA resolution supporting UUA policy on Black Lives Matter. Copies of endorsement are on the welcome table.
February 12. Rev. Gy will speak about her calling to the ministry and her path forward to UU ministerial fellowship.
February 26. Congregational meeting, breaking out into small groups to reflect on our Covenant and identify actions and guidelines that can support healthy relationships, healthy communication, a welcoming community and loving service /action.
March 5. COM and Board will present what has been learned in our previous congregational (small group)meetings. The Board and the Finance Committee will present budget scenarios for 4 different types of ministry over the coming 3 years:
- Full time minister
- ¾ time minister
- ½ time minister
- No minister, use guest speakers, consulting pastoral care, etc.
This information will help inform members and friends about the financial needs related to various goals and objectives of our shared ministry.
